The music

The musical traditions of Ireland, Scotland, Wales and the Isle of Man have given us hundreds of beautiful, atmospheric airs and a vast number of dance tunes, many dating back at least as far as the 17th Century.

Celtic harp

Some of these melodies were composed by great figures like the prolific Irish harper Turlough O'Carolan and the Scots fiddle players Niel Gow and William Marshall, but most are anonymous pieces passed on and modified by generations of singers and instrumentalists.
